How to surrender you Olde English Bulldogge
Dogs come into our rescue for several different reasons: Strays turned into shelters, owner surrender, retired from a breeder, or several other various reasons. SOSNRescue understands that Surrendering your Bulldogge can be a painful decision. However, if you feel it is necessary thing for you to do we can help!!
When contacting us about needing to surrender your Bulldogge please include the following information in your email:
* Breed/Sex/Age of your Dog
* Is the dog spayed or neutered
* Is the dog up to date on vaccinations
* Is the dog currently taking monthly heartworm preventative and when was the last heartworm test
* Is the dog good with other dogs/cats/kids
* Does the dog have any know problems (behavioral or Medical)
* Reasons you are needing to surrender him/her
* Picture of the dog
* Your name, Location, and Phone #
* If you are willing to transport, and how far?
Once we have received all of the above information a volunteer will contact you to further discuss your dog and to advise if we have an open foster home to take him/her in. Please be advised that we do give priority to OEB’s that are in shelters, since they are in danger of euthanasia. If we are unable to take in your Bulldogge then we may be able to help you place him/her. We decide which dogs we can take on a case by case basis situation.
Additionally, if your Bulldogge is not spayed/neutered or up-to-date on vaccinations, we ask that you take care of these items before the dog is surrendered to our program. However, if for some reason you cannot take care of these items, we will request that you make a donation to our program to cover these expenses.
Upon Surrendering your Bulldogge, you will be required to sign a surrender agreement, stating that you have relinquished all rights to the dog and may not re-claim the dog once turned over into the care of SOSNRescue.
